Signatures
Create custom signatures. The default signature is appended to new outbound messages automatically.
How mail is sent today
Outbound mail goes through Amazon SES from this web app (and the mobile app via the same HTTPS API). You do not configure SMTP inside the compose window — the server holds AWS keys.
If send fails with “Email address is not verified”
SES is likely still in sandbox: you can only mail addresses (or domains) verified in AWS SES → Identities. Either verify the recipient (e.g. open the SES verification email), or request Production access in the SES console (region us-east-1). Full guide: docs/ses-send-receive.md in the repo. There is no SES log in this app UI — errors appear in the Mail send banner; AWS metrics are in the SES console.
